AI generated dreams

Created at the moment generative AI first became genuinely useful — early Midjourney, first-generation diffusion models — this series was as much a technical exploration as an artistic one. Probing the latent space between prompt and image, testing where the models broke down and where they surprised.

The results landed somewhere between painting and hallucination: weightless figures, suspended objects, pastel atmospheres that no photographer could light and no illustrator would think to compose. Not despite the technology — because of it.

AI Generated Dreams documents a specific moment: when the machines started dreaming, and it was worth paying attention.
